Becky Kuchefski

Fithian - Rebecca (Becky) Harrold Kuchefski, 77, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. She was born January 3rd, 1946 in Champaign to Thomas Patrick and Norma Claire (Bryant) Harrold. Becky married Francis (Frank) Joseph Kuchefski, Jr. of Danville on October 7th, 1966.

Becky is survived by her son Thomas (Casey) Kuchefski of Grovetown, GA; daughter Sally (Michael) Kuchefski-Adams of Spencerville, OH; Fianc Dennis T. Gaudio; and Niece Laurie (Mark) Hamilton of Winter Haven FL; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband; sister Kathleen Harrold-Lewis, and granddaughter Lauren Nichole Kuchefski.

Becky was a devoted environmentalist, loved all aspects of nature, especially the family tree farm in MN and her childhood homestead in Fithian. She always looked forward to springtime where the planting of flowers and her gardening soothed her soul. She was deep seated in her faith to our Lord, enjoyed the beauty of wildlife, but horses and birds were her favorite.

Memorial contributions may be made in Beckys name to the American Diabetes Association, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
