Beatrice Kamile , 92, of Fort Wayne, Indiana formerly of Danville, Illinois died January 30, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born July 2, 1915 in Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania, the youngest daughter of Abraham & Bertha Margolin. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant Institute of Music and Danville High School. She married Abraham (Abe) H Kamile July 2, 1936. She served as reference librarian at the Danville Public Library for many years and at The Chicago Historical Society (Chicago Il.). A long time resident of Danville, she was a vital member of the Sisterhood, the choir and the Bible Study Group of Congregation Israel as well as a member of Hadassah, Bnai Brith and the Danville Elks Club. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa K Satterlee (Robert) of Fort Wayne Indiana and her son, Stuart J. Kamille (Kathleen) of Lake Tahoe Nevada and three grandchildren, Adam Shapiro (Alyssa), New York, NY, Allison Saltzer (Lawrence), Denver Co. and Barrett Kamille (Margaret), Vancouver, Wa . and three great grandchildren- Lucas, Hudson, and Skyler and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Abraham (Abe) Kamile of the F & S Poultry Company and former Police Commissioner of Danville, her parents Abraham and Bertha Margolin of the Margolin Packing Plant Danville , three sisters Anna Steiger, Thelma Greenfield and Fannie Brainin, and two brothers , Edward Margolin and Sam Margolin. Arrangements by Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, IL. Graveside services will be held at Springhill Memorial Cemetery. February 1, 2008 at 1:00 PM Rabbi Norman Klein will officiate.
