Barbara J. Trosper

Cayuga, Ind. - Barbara J. Trosper, 88, of Cayuga, passed away at 9:49 p.m. EDT Monday, October 31, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Connie Sanders. Barbara was born July 19, 1928 in Clinton, Indiana the daughter of the late Peter Frances and Ethel Evelyn (Blue) Sayre. Barbara married Jimmie Wayne Trosper on September 9, 1944 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1989. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Sanders of Cayuga, Indiana; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and one great great grandson; one sister, Alice Dixon of Cayuga, Indiana, and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Sanders; three sons, Roger; Terry and David Trosper; son-in-law, Bill Sanders and close companion, John Bryant. Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cayuga Senior Citizens Club. Barbara enjoyed watching westerns; game shows and baseball (Especially the Chicago Cubs, and reading. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Friday, November 4, 2016 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 1 p.m. EDT Friday, November 4, 2016 until time of services at the funeral home.
