Barbara Haun

Danville - Barbara Haun, 75, of Danville, passed away on March 31, 2014. She was born April 5, 1938 in Danville, IL the daughter of James and Lavina Vanpelt Wallace. She married Samuel Haun Jr. April 18, 1958 in Danville; he has since preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Loretta Jacobson and Deborah (Michael) Burghart; her step-sons, David Samuel and Ronald Haun; her grandchildren, Kristi, Tabatha, Valerie, Allison, and Ralph Samuel. Barbara loved her family; the love that she had for them cannot be overstated. She loved to spend time with her granddaughter Kristi watching movies and playing cards. She also enjoyed talking to people and telling stories. Barbara loved country music and poetry. She was also a past commander of the Navy Club Aux. Above all else, Barbara loved her family; she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her six brothers, and her two sisters A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, April 10 at Danville National Cemetery.
