Barbara A. Gulledge, 74, of Danville, passed this Life on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on August 31, 1935 in Danville, the daughter of Ransom and Olive (Forrest) Edwards. On June 27, 1954, Barbara married Ronald L. Gulledge. He preceded her in death in 1992. Surviving are her two daughters, Ronda (Steve) Swisher of Danville, and Robin (David) Hines, also of Danville. Her two grandchildren, Alexandria and Kaitlyn Swisher, both of Danville, her sister, Virginia (Jean) Davis of Danville, two brother-in-laws, Jan (Cinda) Gulledge of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jerry (Nancy) Gulledge of Plano, IL, four nephews, Randy (Kim) Davis of Fairbury, IL, Ricky (Shirley) Davis of Danville, Allen (Alexandria) Gulledge of Allen Texas, Michael Gulledge of Oklahoma City, OK, her niece, Teri (Paul) Scull of Plano, IL. and her very special friend, Gerald Dossey of Danville, also survive Barbara. Her parents and Husband, Ronald preceded Barbara in death. She was a Danville High School graduate. She enjoyed archery, bowling, antique shopping, working in her yard, feeding the wildlife, especially the deers and birds, and most of all, being with her family. A graveside service to celebrate the Life of Barbara A. Gulledge is schedule for 2:30pm on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Park located at 3901 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1-2pm on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville.
