Barbara Fleming

Barbara J. Fleming, age 80, of Danville, passed away at 10:40 am on Monday, June 18, 2007 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. She was born on September 14, 1926 in Westville the daughter of Ossie Wilson and Jessie Owenson. Barbara married Billy R. Fleming on August 28, 1945 in Danville at the courthouse. Billy preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by her two daughters: Tanya Fleming of Danville, Connie Beam of California; one brother: George Wilson of Danville; one sister: Jayne Webb of Danville; three grandchildren: Tammy (Victor) Cunningham and Jamie (Butch) Olson both of Danville, Tina Tebbetts of California; and seven great grandchildren: Lena Moszer Cunningham, Christopher Cunningham, Cody Olson, Tawny Olson, Heaven Olson all of Danville, and Angel and Modesty of California. Besides her husband, Billy, Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents. Barbara was a homemaker for most of her life. She was always there to lend an ear to anybody and give them guidance. She was a very caring and patient person that put everybody before herself. Barbara had a heart of gold and always forgave the people that made mistakes in their life. Barbara was the type of person that never met anybody that she didnt love and that didnt love her. She loved reading, cooking and any type of outdoor activity that would get her out in the sun. About the only things she disliked were water and the color blue (which she said would make you feel blue).
