Covington, Ind. - Barbara Ellen Tellier, 82, of Covington and formerly of Danville, Illinois and Clearwater, Florida, passed away at 10:05 p.m. EDT Sunday, August 12, 2018.

She was born February 10, 1936 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Herman Frank and Ethel Elizabeth (Donnelly) Hoover.

Barbara married Ronald Tellier on March 13, 1955 in Danville, Illinois. He survives.

Other survivors include her children: Doug (Linda) Tellier of Biloxi, Mississippi and Vicki Jones of Covington, Indiana; three grandchildren: Wendy (Andrew) Torres, Nicholas (Marjele) Tellier and Dustin Jones, and four great grandchildren: Logan, Jayden, Josie and Emmy Grace.

Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Jarvis, and infant brother, Jack Hoover.

Barbara retired from Walgreens in 2000. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Covington and a 1954 graduate of Danville High School. She enjoyed reading her Bible, Amish books, playing computer games, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, Tampa Bay Buccaneers football and baking cinnamon rolls and coconut cream pies.

Funeral services: Noon EDT Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the First Assembly of God, 421 Market Street, Covington, Indiana 47932; Officiating: Pastor Bob Fairchild: Burial: Allhands Cemetery near Oakwood, Illinois; Visitation: 10 a.m. EDT Thursday, August 16, 2018 until time of services at the church. Contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
