Barbara Ann Sager

Barbara Ann Sager, 76, of Danville passed away on August 20, 2020. Barbara was born in Danville on September 12, 1943 the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Howie. On June 8, 1968 she married the love of her life Darold D. Sager Sr.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Brenda Cook, Lou Ann Moore; sons, Lawrence Howie, Donald Dean Sager Jr., Lloyd Allen Sager; grandchildren Chance Cook, Kelsey Marie, Kathy Joann and brothers, Daniel Howie and Phillip (Sandra) Howie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Eunice Hudnul, Laura Risk, John Howie, Lawrence Howie Jr., Joseph Howie, James Howie, Robert Howie, Donald Howie, Earle Howie, Samuel Howie, Loretta Howie, Paul Howie, Sara Howie, Vera Johnson and Wilma Howie.

Barbara attended Oakwood Highschool. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Danville where she taught 2 and 3 Sunday School for 37 years. She devoted her life to her family and loved taking care of her boys Darold Jr. and Lloyd. She also joyed going to Sunday School parties with her children and doing crossword puzzles.

A Celebration of Barbaras Life will take place at 1pm on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with Pastor Paul Rebert officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12pm to 1pm. Burial will take place at the Danville National Cemetery.
