Authur 'Mike' High

Arthur M. Mike High, 72, of Danville, passed away at 1:57pm, Monday, October 6, 2014, at his home. He was born on June 27, 1942, in Danville the son of James H. and Velma {Gray} High. Mike proudly served in the US Army. He was self-employed and a Jack-of-All-Trades. He enjoyed tinkering around and loved to watch TV. He was a devout Christian. He is survived by his brother, Carl (Anita) High of Danville, and his sister, Pat Newell of Danville. He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Jimmy; and two sisters, Shirley High & Florence Hume. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Danville Humane Society. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, assisted his family with arrangements.
