Audrey Irene Ganley

Audrey Irene Ganley, 84, of Westville passed away at 6:55 a.m. Saturday May 6, 2006 at her home. She was born on July 24, 1921 in Georgetown, IL the daughter of Clarence A. and Zola O. Brown Hanson. She married Carl E. Ganley on September 26, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1999. Survivors include: one son, James (Mary) Ganley of Danville; on daughter, Donna Orlea of Westville; five grandchildren, Shari (Matt) Toth of Danville, John (Nicole) Slazas of Westville, Stacy (Jason) McMahon of Danville, Audrey Ganley of Danville, and Lauren Ganley of Danville; five great grandchildren, David and Jason Toth, Michael and Patrick Ganley, and Justin Slazas; one step great grandchild, Lauren Winters; friend and caregiver, Peggy Hancock. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers. Irene was a graduate of Danville High School and Utterback Brown Business College. Before retirement, she owned and operated her own business as an accountant.
