Audrey Dunn

Audrey L. Dunn, 70, of Danville, passed away at 6:57pm on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Provena USMC in Danville. Mrs. Dunn was born on October 26, 1938 in Vermilion County, IL, the daughter of Frank and Ina (Thompson) Loschen. She married Mr. Marion A Dunn on October 6, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2000. Survivors include three children, Terry (Sandy) Holbrook, of Polo, IL, Steve (Veronica) Dunn of Danville, and Tammy Leigh of Westville. Her seven grandchildren, Carri (Seth) Anderson, Candice Holbrook, Amanda (Jeremy) Leitzen, Stevie Martin, Vanessa (James) Dunn, Brandi Dunn, and Kristen Leigh of Danville also survive her. Her four great granddaughters, Rylee, Averi, Averiona, Addisyn, and her two sisters, Linda Campbell, and Alma Mitchell, both of Homer, IL, and her very special friend and hairdresser, Sandra Erp, also survive Audrey. Her mother, and four brothers, Glenn, Ralph, Harold, and Gayle Loschen precede Audrey in Death. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and was a member of the Luther Church in Royal, IL. She was employed at the Eagle Grocery Store located in Tilton for fourteen years, and later worked at the Belgium Banquet Hall. Audrey was a life member of the DAV, AMVETS, and enjoyed the riverboat casinos, and visiting Las Vegas. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of the Life of Audrey Dunn will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion in Danville with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4pm-8pm on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the funeral home, and again from 11am until time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
