Decatur - Audie Clarence Wright, 28, entered eternal peace on Sunday morning January 21, 2018 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, IL. He was born on December 30, 1989 in Urbana, IL. Audie is survived and loved by his mother Ann Marie; children Martel, Alayjah, Angelo, and Alanah; life partner Aaliyah Reed; siblings Thad (Krystle) Terven and Michelle (Tyler) Hallbeck; maternal grandmother Millie Bonnell; paternal grandparents Gene and Mary Lou Wright; nieces and nephews Boston, Olivia, Connor, Gabrielle, Colton, and Kensley; aunt Sharon; and cousins Jon, Joel, and Lia. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Clarence Bonnell Jr.; uncle Don Templeman; and sister-in-law Abby Terven. He attended Parkland College and Southeastern Illinois University receiving certificates in Highway Construction, Horticulture, Computer Technology and Business Management. Audie cherished family time with his children enjoying trips to amusement parks, the zoo, skating and swimming. The family of Audie would like to extend a special thank you to ICU at Decatur Memorial Hospital and the Vineyard Church of Urbana. A celebration of Audie's life will be held at 1pm on Saturday January 27, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820. Visitation will be held prior from 11am-1pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Audie's family towards his children's education.
