Words cannot explain the type of human being my father was. he was a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and even a great grandfather. My father was loved and adored by many; he was the type of person that was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that may needed it. He was always on the go; continuously staying busy with any project he could get his hands on whether it was improving his home or the homes of family members, working on cars, or helping his son and grandson building dog houses. With any free time, he may have had he spent with his family and friends. He enjoyed time with his family but most importantly his children. He was the type of father that made time for his children no matter the circumstances. He loved summer cookouts, holiday gatherings and wouldnt dare miss a birthday party. He would also love grabbing a cup of coffee with his friends at the local steak n shake during the early hours of the morning. He had a collection of baseball caps and had a fascination of muscle cars. Even though he is not here with us today, he will forever be in our hearts and not a day will go by that he wont be thought of.
Thank you all for paying your respects for our father, Arturo Chavira Senior.
