GEORGETOWN - Arthur Boy M. Baldwin of Georgetown went home to be with his Jesus at 8:10 p.m. on Sunday February 26, 2006 at home, he was 76. He was born on November 9, 1929 in Chicago, IL, the son of Arthur R. and Elsie M. (Morris) Baldwin. He will be missed by his beloved sister Helen Taylor of Mesa, AZ, two nephews, Terry and Ricky, and two nieces, Kathy and Shelly, and their children, all of AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the First Church of Christ and the Georgetown American Legion Dornblaser Post #203. Arthur faithfully and diligently served 35 years at the Veterans Administration as a nursing assistant, and was a regular at local restaurants for his afternoon coffee and to visit with his friends. He was often to be found striding the streets of Georgetown as he walked regularly to keep himself active. He will be sorely missed by each and every member of the small group Bible study he attended every Saturday night, where he was a precious member of the family. A celebration of Arthurs life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday March 1, 2006 at Sunsets Houghton Leasure Funeral Home. Officiating will be Steve Rutter. Burial: Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
