Covington, Ind. - Arnold Warren Cheesman, 78, of rural Covington and formerly of Cayuga, passed away at 9:35 p.m. EDT Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his residence.
He was born March 10, 1941 in Eugene, Indiana the son of the late Arnold and Dora D. (Mack) Cheesman.
Arnold married Gloria J. Brown on September 7, 1962 in Westville, Illinois. She survives.
Other survivors include his children: Laurie (John) Dunavan of Eugene, Indiana; Shelley (Kevin) Randolph of Kingman, Indiana and Rodney (Anna) Cheesman of Covington, Indiana; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters: Pam Steiger of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Sue (Gordon) Delp of Newport, Indiana.
Arnold was preceded in death by his brother: Kenny Cheesman.
Arnold formerly worked in the maintenance department at Danville Care Center. He was a 1960 graduate of Cayuga High School. Arnold was a former member and Sergeant of Arms at the Cayuga S.A.L. and Covington V.F.W. Post 2395. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool, chess, watching football and NASCAR. Arnold especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
There will be no services. Per Arnold's request cremation was accorded. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family.
