Arnold Smith

Arnold Lee Smith 76 of Laporte MN. passed away on May 25, 2019 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on December 8, 1942 in Le Roy MN. The son of Ernest and Julia Smith.

He is survived by his siblings; Sally (Larry) Memmer, Beverly (Dan) Butterfield, Larry (Nancy) Smith, Allen Smith, Mickey (Arlys) Smith. Children; Debra (Del) Cook, Diana (Jerry) Sullivan, Russell (Annetta) Smith and Ryan Smith. As well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Arnold was a truckdriver he retired after being on the road for forty years. He enjoyed fishing on Leech Lake and most importantly spending time with his family and friends, they always put a smile on his face. Arnold will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May you soar above the clouds like the eagles that you loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents, second wife Patricia and grandson Anthony Smith.

A memorial service for Arnold will be held at a later date.
