Arlene K. Grimes

Arlene K. Grimes 69, of Danville passed away at 4:24 P.M. Wednesday May 16, 2007 at Provena USMC Hospital. She was born August 1, 1937 in Whiting, KY the daughter of Leroy and Neva House Davidson. Arlene married James A. Grimes on November 20, 1955 in Danville, he Preceded her in death in 2002. Surviving: one son Jimmie (Bev) Grimes of Largo, Fl, three daughters; Wilma (Don) Riggle of Danville, Frances (Art) Johnson of Potomac, Mary Ann Johnson of Covington, Ind, two brothers; Fred (Evelyn) Davidson of Catlin, John Davidson of Kentucky, three sisters; Marlene Cornell of Georgetown, Jennie Wright of Home Gardens, Theola Bullington of Kentucky, Fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, special friends; Nancy And Jerry Covington. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arlene was a homemaker and in her younger days worked at General Electric and Continental Filling. She enjoyed flower gardening, watching soap operas on TV, but most of all Loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. As per Arlenes wishes she will be cremated with a celebration of life memorial service At 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 19, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL.
