Archie Rahm

Archie Rahm, 85, of Georgetown, passed away at 5:00pm, Friday, December 30, 2016, at Gardenview Manor, Danville. He was born August 4, 1931, in Danville, the son of Arthur and Mary (Knee) Rahm, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Judy Brown on May 28,1965. She will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his son, Jack (Janet) Rahm of Veedersburg, IN; his daughter, Sue Stokes of Veedersburg, IN; his step daughter, Virginia Howard of Olivet; his sister, Mellie Roark of Covington, IN; his grandchildren, Chris (Diana) Rahm of Veedersburg, IN, Todd (Christian) Rahm of Wasilla, AK, and Tracy Rahm of Veedersburg, IN; his great grandchildren, Wyatt & Mckenna Rahm of Wasilla, AK, Shy, Kindle, Shawn, & Jessica of Veedersburg, IN. Archie was preceded in death by: three brothers, Alvie, Robert & John Rahm; three sisters, Maggie Osborn, Kate Keller & Frances Shumaker; his daughter, Anita Branham; and his two sons, Tommy Rahm & Archie Rahm Jr. Archie loved spending his time in the woods deer hunting with his best friend, Ray Lace, favorite niece, Teresa Cobble & friend, Sara Spencer. Special thanks to Alex Reed at Danville Rescue Mission. A Celebration of Archie's life will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday January 4, 2017 at Sunset's Houghton Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Pastor Thompson & Pastor Rowe officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
