April L. Cope

April L. Cope 31, of Covington IN, passed away at 6:39 PM, Wednesday September 21, 2011, at her residence. April was born on September 26, 1979 in Danville to Ronald D. and Angela D. (Little) Powell. Ronald survives and Angela preceded April in death in 2004.She married Mike J. Cope on June 18, 2005 at the United Church of Tilton. He survives. She is survived by one son- Brynden Deck, one daughter- Mackenzie Cope, half sister- Amy Lynn, mother and father in law- John (Linda) Cope of Stateline, IN, brother-in-law- Alan (Shannon) Cope, five uncles- Dennis Powell, Alan Powell, Charles, Josh and Arl Little, four aunts- Edis (Oscar) Mundy, Willa (Orville) Robinson, Linda Vance and special aunt Ruby (Joe) Presley, several cousins, special cousins Missy Vincent, Bill Presley, Michael Little, Jolie and Amanda Powell, three nieces, three nephews, and special friends Amy (Mickey) Gritton, Chasity (Shawn) Schmidt, and Kelly (Matt) Engle. She was preceded in death by her mother, grand-parents, six uncles and one aunt. April was a graduate of Danville High in 1997 and went on to work at as a machine operator at Krupp Gerlach in Danville. She loved shopping, riding motorcycles, hunting, trapshooting, playing with her dogs "Hogan", "Presley", and "Chloe". She was a huge fan of Kentucky Basketball and especially loved being with family and friends. A Celebration of the Life of April will be held at 10 AM Wednesday September 28, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor P.J. Bourn officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family to start a college fund for April's children.
