Anne Thiede

Anne Thiede, 82, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville. She was born on September 8, 1936 in Danville, Il, the daughter of Harold and Zora (Halloway) Collings. She was married to Walter Thiede on June 16, 1956, later divorcing after having two daughters.

She will be dearly missed by daughters, Holly Parker and Megan Krueger and a granddaughter, Loryn Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and son-in-law, Stephen Parker.

Anne worked as the office manager and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville. She enjoyed playing bridge, knitting and cooking.

A celebration of Annes life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Bethel Lutheran Church 901 West Fairchild Street in Danville. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
