Annabelle G. Wright

Annabelle G. Wright, 89, of Danville passed away on November 29, 2019 peacefully at her home.

She was born on February 22, 1930 in Indianola, IL the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Carrington) Thomas. She married Charles F. Wright on September 20, 1948 in Danville and he preceded her in death.

Annabelle will be deeply missed by her children; Charles (Paula) Wright Jr. of Danville, Mark (Veronica) Wright of Marshfield, IN, John Wright of Georgetown, IL and Gary (Teresa) Wright of Danville, IL, 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, David Wright.

Annabelle spent her life as a homemaker and loved babysitting and taking care of children, especially her own family. She also loved to go fishing, doing word search puzzles, reading her bible and walking. She was a member of the Evangelical Church of North America. Annabelle was a compassionate and loving person who enjoyed her life to the fullest.

A celebration of Annabelles life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville 3940 North Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 with Chaplain Patsy Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 8-11 AM on Monday prior to the service. Memorials can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
