Anna P Milewski

Anna P. Milewski of Westville, Ill. passed away the morning of January 13, 2014 at Presence United Samaritan Medical Center in Danville, Ill. She was 92 years of age. Anna was born December 14, 1921 to Frank and Mary (Cepaitis) Parnarauskis of Westville. She married Felix H. Milewski on October 25, 1941 at St. Mary Catholic Church of Westville where they spent their lives. They raised two children, Charles (wife Cheryl) and Mary Ann Milewski. She is survived by her son and daughter, grandchildren Felicia Buehler (husband Benjamin) and Christine Milewski, great grandchildren Abigail and Clayton Buehler and sister-in-law Yvonne Paran. Her many nieces, nephews, and extended family were very special to her. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 3, 1971, twin brother Joseph Parnarauskis (spouse Irene), brother Frank Paran, and sister Helen Miller. Anna was a long time parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Westville, a member of the St. Mary Altar and Rosary Society, and the Vermilion County Home Extension. She was employed in the Central Supply Department of Danville Lakeview Memorial Hospital for 16 years. Anna spent her last seven and a half years at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village Nursing Home in Chrisman, Illinois. The loving staff and resident friends made her last years ones of comfort and grace. Anna enjoyed her garden and yard raising vegetables and flowers, reading, sewing, crocheting, needlework, and spending time with her family and neighbors. Her family and the arrival of the first green sprouts of her garden were her greatest joys. Spreading her loving wisdom as she walked with us through her garden will always be in our hearts. Visitation will be at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel in Westville on Friday January 17, 2014 from 5-8 pm with rosary at 6 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 18, at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church in Westville, Ill. Annas ashes will be buried at a later date in a private ceremony at St. Peter and Pauls Cemetery in Westville, Ill. next to her husband, Felix.
