Anna May Blough, 86, of Danville, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Hawthorne Inn in Danville. Anna was born on December 7, 1923, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Everett B. and Alma (Crockett) White. She married Robert Rodney Blough on March 31, 1944 in Spencer, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1995. She is survived by two sons- R. Barry (Linda K.) Blough of Tilton and Larry G. Blough of Danville; two sisters- Jean Lohse of Bakersfield, California and Ruth (Will) Roeker of Sparta, Tennessee; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister- Evelyn (Steve) Stefano. Anna graduated from Thornton High School in Riverdale, Illinois. During high school she went to beauty school. She was a beautician for over 30 years, owning Anns Beauty Shop in Danville. After she retired, Anna worked at the Danville Township Supervisors office as an office manager. She attended Pleasant Grove Bible Chapel. Anna enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles, playing computer card games and in her earlier years she enjoyed sewing. Anna also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of the life of Anna May Blough will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor Herb Smith officiating.
