Anna Lou Fultz

Anna Lou Fultz, 90, of Cayuga, passed away at 9:24 pm EST Friday, October 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 13, 1934 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of the late Victor N. and Ellen McCormick Asbury. She married Bill Craft in May of 1951. She later married Richard “Dick” Fultz on January 29, 1961 in Montezuma, Indiana. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2011.

Anna Lou is survived by her children, Sally Craft of Cayuga, Indiana; Suzanne Laney of Newport, Indiana; Byron (Lindsie) Fultz also of Cayuga, Indiana; Marianne (Ralph) Burke of Stevensville, Michigan; stepson Rick (Patti) Donald of Covington, Indiana; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, William “Pete” (Sue English) Craft and David Lee Fultz; stepdaughter Bonnilee (Jerry) Delp; two sisters and three brothers.

Anna Lou was a former Eugene Township Trustee for two terms. She was a 1952 graduate of Newport High School. She was a member of the Vermillion County Democrat Women and the Union Hospital Clinton Guild. Anna Lou was a former Girl Scout and 4-H Leader. She enjoyed reading, raising flowers and watching the Indianapolis Colts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm EST Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home’s DeVerter Chapel, located at 215 N. Division Street in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating will be Pastor Kurt Smith from the Cayuga Christian Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 pm – 3 pm at the funeral home.
