Ann Marie Musson, born Feb 6, 1969 to Bill and Sharon Musson. With Ann's passing she leaves behind her parents, also Aunts, Uncles, lots of cousins and countless friends. Ann attended Danville schools and graduated Danville High in 1987.
At an early age Ann fell in love with sports. She played girls softball, bowling & shooting archery. Her favorite teams were the Chicago Cubs, "The" Bears, and the fighting Illini! She loved going hunting with her dad fishing with her mom to see who would catch the most fish. Ann always had a special place in her heart for dogs and cats. She left behind her 4 legged boyfriend, Gunner, that was by her side to the very end.
After high school, the gypsy in Ann came out, moving around to a lot of different states. She moved to Texas in 1994 where she worked for Dell Computers building them from beginning to end. Later she moved to New York in 1999 and worked for the gaming company WII, playing the repaired games, making sure they were in working order before they were returned to the costumer. Ann would state that " It was the best job ever"!
In 2013 Ann decided she had traveled enough and came back home to stay. She worked numerous jobs and hooked up with old friends, developing lasting friendships. She was blessed with the best of friends anyone could ask for.
Ann was given a heavy load to bare when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. With the love of her family and many friends she has fought a gallant fight.
Ann and her friends banded together getting closer & closer making beautiful, countless memories and checking off her bucket list along the way. She attended numerous concerts, waded the beautiful oceans, kayaked the caverns of Kentucky, white water rafted the Tennessee rivers & zip lined hills and valleys.
Last but not lease she went on a trip of a lifetime with her mom, mom’s best friend Jill and her best friend Mary to Hawaii, fulfilling one of her biggest dreams. Doing all this with the girls she called her Tribe. The girls were always there for Ann day & night.
Ann always said they were not just my friends they are my “Sistas” and God sent angels. One of the many friends Ann had were Mary & Lowell Hudson who stepped up and opened their house & became Ann's care takers, giving Ann loving care until she was called home by her Heavenly Father.
Many of her friends stepped up to be care takers during the final months of her life. As Ann has passed this world, she knows she was deeply loved by family, and friends & will be deeply missed Her memory will always remain. She will rest in peace in the arms of our loving God.
