Ann Koontz

Ann L.Koontz age 71 of Danville went to be with the lord at 10:04 a.m. Thursday April 29, 2004 at Provena Logan Campus. She was born May 29, 1932 in Tifton GA the daughter of Jessie Arthur and Annie May Pearson Mobley. She had married Jessie E. Koontz on March 3, 1965 he preceded her in May 3, 2002. Survivors one son Gilbert Edward (Gail) Koontz, three brothers Harry Gerald Mobley of Glasgow Ky, Troy Waylon Mobley of Nashville Ga, James Elton Mobley, three sisters Doris Louise Smoot of Arlington TX, Mirtle Ruth Goddard and Urma Jean Brogdon both of Tifton Ga, two grandchildren Dominick Skyler Koontz and Logan Christopher Koontz both of Danville. Her parents and one sister preceded her. Ann had worked for Quaker Oats and Spritz Jewelers in Danville, she was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal church in Danville, and Ann enjoyed collecting dolls, crocheting and sewing along with flower gardening, gospel music and travel
