Ann Hearn

Twyla Ann Hearn, 73, of Rantoul passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023.

Ann was born in Horatio, Ariz. on March 30, 1950, the daughter of Travis and Myrtle (McCormick) Hearn. Ann moved to Rantoul with the family as a child and attended school here.

Ann married Tom Johnson and is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Bemount of Gifford and Cindy Johnson of Rantoul; and a son, Shannon Sabol of Rantoul. Ann is also survived by a sister, Sue Cryer of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Bud and Dewey; and three sisters, Ester, Miriam and Wanda.

Ann was a life long resident of the Rantoul and Gifford area and worked at Country Health in Gifford as a CNA then later as a cook and at Rantoul Products as a fork lift driver for years. Ann was a bartender at the Rantoul Pizza Pub, a job she really enjoyed. Ann loved her family and friends, she also loved alone time with her dog Milo.

Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at 6 p.m. and visitation from 5- 6 p.m. at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., Rantoul.
