Ann Brewer

Ann Brewer, 63, of Danville passed away on July 28, 2016 at Hawthorne Nursing Home in Danville, IL. She was born on January 10, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Malcus and Jean Hallstrom. She is a graduate of Hoopeston Area High School. Ann will be deeply missed by her son, Gary (Heather) Brewer of Oakwood, IL; as well as her grandchildren, Ethan and Grant Brewer and niece, Laura Hallstrom of Senatobia, MS. Ann was a member of Eastern Star in Hoopeston and sold Avon for many years and enjoyed being a caretaker for her mother, Jean. She enjoyed sharing visits and ice cream with her family and grandchildren and loved watching the Illini and Chicago Cubs, her favorite teams. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Louis Hallstrom and sister-in-law, Connie Hallstrom. A celebration of Ann's life will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at 10AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 North Vermilion Street, Danville, IL 61834. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 3-6 PM.
