Ann A. Holycross

Ann A. Holycross, 95, formerly of Westville passed away on May 1, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Danville. She was born April 1, 1929 in Danville to the late Stella and Fermer Price. She was united in marriage to Harold Holycross on September 13, 1947, in Danville. He preceded her in December of 2018.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Tarri (Jack) Walsh of Tilton and Joyce (Darold) Marrow of Westville; her grandchildren, Mandy Holycross (Jason Finley), Donald (Heather) Marrow, Brad (Trish) Walsh, Greg (Holly) Walsh, and Heather Walsh; her great-grandchildren, Ava Marrow, Aleah Marrow, Kailie Holycross, River Finley, Brandon (Sarah) Walsh, Lance (Jennifer) Walsh, Caleb Lahey, Haylee Walsh-Starr, and Madison Walsh. She also leaves behind 5 great-greatgrandchildren; her brother Howard (Sandy) Price; many nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends at Bowman Estates.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her 2 sisters Virginia and Viola.

Ann worked for General Electric for over 30 years before her eventual retirement. She loved watching the birds and enjoyed the beauty of flowers. She and Harold were members of the Muncie Baptist Church.

A visitation will take place from 10 am 11 am on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Homes Urbas Chapel, located at 414 S. State Street in Westville. A funeral service celebrating her life will take place at 11 am following the visitation, also at the funeral home.
