Angelica Nicole Yowell, 16 of Westville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:07 AM at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born August 16, 2000 in Urbana. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Dawn and Jimmy Frazier of Home Gardens; father, Ted Yowell; fianc, Benjamin Miller of Westville; brother, Travis Yowell; sister, Alexandra Atkins; grandfather, Donald Atkins of Savoy; grandmother, Carol Atkins of Ventura, CA; as well as so many other loving relatives and friends. Angelica worked as a sandwich artesian at Subway for two years while attending Danville Area Community College Middle College. She also attended Westville High School. Angelica was an amazing artist. She could sculpt, draw, and had so many talents she shared with the world. Angelica entered and brought home awards from many art shows. She had a loving heart for all humans and animals, and recently just got her dream dog, a Siberian husky, that she named Storm. She had a special outlook on the world and everyone will forever miss the presence she brought to the room. A celebration of Angelica's life will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion, Danville. Pastor Raymie Gordon will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Wednesday prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials in her name can be made to American Asthma and Allergy Foundation or the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
