Andrew J. Sievers

Andrew J. Sievers (Andy), 63 of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on April 12, 2023.

Andy was born on March 26, 1960, to Jack and Debbie Sievers in Vincennes, Indiana.

After graduating from Indiana University in 1982, he spent the next 23 years working for multiple major motor carriers prior to establishing a consulting business within the industry. Andy enjoyed his career and had a passion for what he did.

He married Lauren (Fleck) Sievers on May 4, 1985.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lauren Sievers, his son Andrew Sievers (Abigail), his granddaughter, Maeve Sievers and his daughter, Suzannah Sievers. Also surviving are four siblings, John Sievers (Angie), Dan Sievers (Donna), Joel Sievers (Leanne) and Julie Sievers in addition to multiple nieces and nephews. Andy was predeceased by his parents, Debbie and Jack Sievers and an infant brother.

"Big Andy" was a "bigger than life" man who enjoyed every day to the fullest. He made everyone in his presence feel important. He loved traveling with his wife, Lauren. He recently moved to Zionsville, Indiana to be close to his daughter, son and granddaughter, Maeve. She was the light of his life, and he was the best "Poopoo" to her.

A visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Mahomet, IL on Tuesday, April 18 from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. A service will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lions Club of Mahomet, Gleaners Food Bank of Indianapolis or Mahomet-Seymour Education Foundation, all organizations Andy felt strongly about.
