Amy L. Stevens

Amy L. Stevens, 70, passed peacefully on Sat., Sept. 2nd, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rob F., and Ruth A. Stevens. Surviving are brothers, William R., and James A. Stevens.

Amy grew up on the farm in Tolono township, and attended Unity High School, she received a B.S. in Biochemistry from ISU, and later a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Parkland College. She worked in labs at the U of I, and Parkland, as well as a fabric store. She enjoyed attending 1st Presbyterian Church of Tolono, music and singing sewing, and baking cookies and other goodies for friends and family! Amy loved people and loved to laugh! She was a friend to all!

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Champaign, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
