Amy Dunavan

Danville - Amy Dunavan, 40, of Lewisport, KY, formerly of Danville, IL. Passed away on February 15, 2014. She was born May 11, 1973 in Danville, IL the daughter of Stephen and Ava Masengale Egnew. She married Rick Dunavan on December 15, 2006 in Danville, IL. She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Ava; her husband, Rick; her son Michael Ray Dunavan; her sister, Lori (Chuck) Egnew-Vaughan and her three nephews Hayden, Rylie, and Gavin Vaughan. Amy was a dog lover especially her “two furry babies” Oreo and Bandit. She enjoyed to go out shopping as well. Amy loved to decorate; she would handle all the interior decorating at her home. She also loved to decorate the outside of her home in the garden. Amy truly enjoyed being outside. Above all else, Amy loved her family; she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Amys life will be held at 2pm on Friday February 21, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Thursday February 20, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Amys name to her son Michael Ray Dunavans college fund at First Financial Bank 2750 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL.
