Amie L. Fyie

Amie Lynn (Graves) Fyie, 30, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Danville, and Champaign, IL, passed this Life and entered into Gods kingdom at 9:51am on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at her home with her family by her side, holding her hand. She was born on July 2, 1979, in Danville, the daughter of Timothy Graves of Ridge Farm, and Debra (Hicks) Graves of Tilton. She attended both Oakwood and Westville High School, graduating from Westville High in 1997. She attended DACC and worked in retail. On June 5, 2004, Amie married Nathaniel Fyie in Enfield, IL. He survives along with her mother, Debra, father, Timothy, her sister, Cari (Michael) Madsen of Newnan, GA, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her special mother and father-in-law, Mary and Pat Fyie, her special sister-in-law, Andrea, and brother-in-law, Patrick, also survive her. Amie loved going to movies, reading books, shopping, spending time outside, going on cruises, and being with her husband Nate and their dog, Emma. She also loved spending time with her mom, (her best friend). She will be greatly missed by all of her family. Amie showed the true meaning of courage in her fight against Cancer. She never gave up, whatever came her way; she would gather strength from within and fight, no matter how much pain. Amie was a true blessing from God. We as a family are thankful for the thirty years we had with her. A Celebration of Amie Fyies Life will began at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with internment to follow at Songer Cemetery in Tilton. Pastor James Blue has been asked to officiate the service.
