Alyssa Morgan

Alyssa M.J. Morgan, 6, of Danville, went to Heaven after her long battle with her illness. She was born on October 8, 2003, in Champaign, the daughter of Charlie Morgan and Ashley (Adams) Morgan. She is survived and will be missed by her biological father, Charles Morgan (Brandi Robertson), and her mother, Ashley Morgan (daddy, Mark Peaslee). Her five brothers, Gabe Yaden, Ethan Peaslee Caleb Peaslee Elijah Peaslee, Aiden Morgan, and her three sisters, Chelsea Morgan, Natalie Peaslee, and Izabella Morgan also survive Alyssa. Her maternal grandparents, Connie (Mike) Adams, great grandparents, Floyd (Sharon) Reed Sr., her great grandmother, Frances Nelson, and her step-grandparents, Phyllis (Scott) Hickman. Her seven uncles, Robert Adams, Chris Adams, Mike Cote, Donnie Martin, Marshall Peaslee, Matt Peaslee, Austin Hickman, and eight aunts, Beth Ray, Felicity Adams, Lori Whittingham, Michelle Winter, Cathy Oatis, Morgan Peaslee, Amber Hickman, and Autumn Hickman survive Alyssa. The family would also like to mention that Alyssas many cousins will dearly miss her, including, Jennifer Clauson, and Devon Johnson, who both helped with her care. Her paternal grandparents, Betty Jo (Chuck) Morgan, precede Alyssa in death. Alyssa attended East Park Elementary School in Danville. Her favorite things to do were bouncing on the trampoline, swinging at the park, dancing to country music, and to be held and tickled by her mommy and daddy. Alyssa would like everyone to know that she truly loved her mommy and daddy, her siblings, all of her grandparents, as well as the rest of her family. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. A Celebration of Life Service for Alyssa Morgan will begin at 10:00am on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the funeral home.
