Alyssa Marie Buck, 13, of Tilton, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois.
She was born September 18, 2010, in Danville, Illinois, daughter of Loren Buck Jr. and Angel (Bogard) Buck.
Along with her parents, Alyssa is survived by her sisters: Samantha Raimer, Serena Raimer, Natalie Buck, and Gracie Buck; maternal grandparents: Lisa Bogard (Ronald Moore) of Tilton, IL; Bradley Bogard (Tami Moore) of Olney, IL; paternal grandmother: Debrah Buck of Danville, IL; her great-grandparents: Herman and Marsha Bogard of Clearwater, FL; her aunts: Sarah Buck, Brianna Bogard, Cheyanne Huff and Veronica Huff; and her cousin: Emmett (Mr. Bubba)
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Loren Buck Sr.
Alyssa was a seventh grader at North Ridge Middle School in Danville, Illinois. She loved making bracelets for her friends and classmates and enjoyed playing the upright bass. At home, she enjoyed listening to music, playing Mario Kart and Fortnite. She also had a love for the Lord, reading the bible and learning new scripture. Most of all, Alyssa enjoyed spending time with her friends.
A Celebration of Life for Alyssa will take place at 10AM Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street Danville, Illinois 61834 with Pastor Bob Fairchild officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses with envelopes available at the funeral home.
