Alonzo Bass

CHAMPAIGN- Alonzo Bass Sr. 70, of Champaign, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at his home. Alonzo was born on December 24, 1942 in Earle, Arkansas the son of Sammy and Leanne Lincoln Bass. He married Dorothy Cook in Earle Arkansas. She survives. Also surviving are four children, Alonzo Jr., Jerome, Dwayne, and Dorothy Bass; one sister, Rosetta; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Five sisters, two brothers, and his parents are preceded him in death. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center Champaign-Urbana Chapel, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign.
