Alma Truskosky, 85, of Danville, passed away at 2:48 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Vermilion Manor in Tilton. Alma was born on January 17, 1920 in Danville, the daughter of William E. and Vera (Murphy) Rose. She married Charles F. Truskosky on June 1938 in Covington, Indiana. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1987. She is survived by 3 sons- Charles (Sharon) Truskosky of Danville, James Truskosky of Tilton and John Truskosky of Danville; 2 daughters- Vicki (Neil) Olson of Danville and Chris Truskosky of Roseburg, Oregon; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and 4 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 brother-William Rose, and 2 sisters- Cecilia Ren and Inez Lucas. Alma worked as a salesperson at Sears and Black Hardware for 20 years until retiring in 1990. She loved to listen to music and enjoyed singing. Alma enjoyed spending time with her family and worked as a volunteer at Vermilion Manor. Services will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
