Alma Marie Lynch, 95, of Danville passed away at 10:41 am Tuesday March 7, 2007 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. Alma was born July 19th, 1911 near Rankin, Illinois the daughter of the late Agusta and Emma Fredrickson. Alma was married to John Thomas Lynch February 29th, 1936. He preceded her in death August 18th, 2004. Survivors include four children: Norma Jean (Harold) Edwards, John William (Janice) Lynch all of Danville, Ronald Paul Lynch of Indianapolis, IN, and Martha Louise (Don) Stanton of Danville; Eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; one sister Vera Gossett of Tilton and two sisters-in-law: Erma Fredrickson of Hoopeston and June Moulton of Danville. Her parents, son roger Lloyd Lynch, two grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Alma worked at Lakeview Hospital and St. Elizabeth Hospital retiring in 1997. Alma was a member of the state line Christian Church in State Line, Indiana. Almas hobbies included camping, cross-word puzzles, gardening, and especially spending time with her family. A Celebration of Almas Life will be at 10:30 am Friday, March 9, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville. Officiate will be Gerald Burt of State Line Christian Church. Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the State Line Christian Church.
