Cayuga, Ind. - Alma Louise (Allen) Weir, 82, of Cayuga, passed away at 5:28 p.m. EDT Sunday, May 13, 2018 at her residence.

She was born July 30, 1935 in Cates, Indiana the daughter of the late Hardy and Treva (Allen) Allen.

She married Frederick Gene Weir on February 20, 1954 in Montezuma, Indiana. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2006.

Survivors include her children: Susie Wilson; Debbie (Len) Stewart; Greg (Leslie) Weir and Steve Weir, all of Cayuga, Indiana; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard (Karen) Allen of Wallace, Indiana and Jesse (Dale) Allen of West Lebanon, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Alma was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Randy Wilson and sister, Joyce Allen.

Alma retired in 1998 from Mason Hangar in Newport, Indiana. She was a 1953 graduate of Kingman High School. Alma enjoyed reading, playing bingo, watching game shows and humming birds. Most of all, spending time with her family was the number one thing.

Graveside services and burial: 3 p.m. EDT Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Jon Overbey; Visitation: 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, May 16, 2018 until time of graveside services at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity of their choice.
