Alma Jean Loveall

Cayuga, Ind. - Alma Jean Loveall, 63, of Cayuga, passed away at 11:03 p.m. EDT Sunday, June 21, 2020 at her daughter's residence in Spencer, Indiana.

Alma was born on March 7, 1957 in Clinton, Indiana, the daughter of the late John and Helen L. (Dugger) Uplinger.

She married David L. Loveall on October 30, 1976 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include her daughter: Tia (Tyler) Hammond of Spencer, Indiana; grandson: Haiden Hammond of Spencer, Indiana; siblings: Maxine Dillon of Crawfordsville, Indiana; Hildred (Curt) Volkel of Perrysville, Indiana; Mildred (Bud) Delp of West Lebanon, Indiana; Gretchen (Roger) Douglas of Hillsboro, Indiana; Helen (Raymond Clore) Van Sickle of Newport, Indiana; Margie Welch and Carolyn Glossop both of Terre Haute, Indiana; Bonnie Uplinger of Westville, Illinois; Carroll (Glenda) Uplinger of Dana, Indiana; Gerald (Vickie) Uplinger and Byron Uplinger both of Cayuga, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Alma was preceded in death by her sister: Patsy Delp.

Alma was a homemaker. she enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and raising her grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial: Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. EDT at Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana. Visitation with current CDC social distancing guidelines will be Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana.
