Danville- Allyson Ally Lee Hughes, 3, earned her wings on Saturday, July 17, 2010 after a long hard fight with neuroblastoma. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 13, 2007 to Melissa (Neil Weber) Hughes and Keith (Tammy House) Hughes. They survive. Also surviving are big sister Alyssa; twin brother Loudyn; grandparents Bill (late Alice) Williams, Betty (late Butch) Drake and Glenn and Carol Hughes; several aunts and uncles Barb Bruce, Russell Rose, Toby and Gwen Tevebaugh, Jody and Steve Johnson, Chris (Lewis) Johnson, Steve and Sis Bruce, Wayne Bruce, Dave Hughes, Billie Miles, and Cherie Tobias; and several special cousins. Anyone who came into contact with Ally she won over with her smile and giggle and with that nose crinkled. She loved getting her fingers and toes done, wearing flip flops, and playing with her twin brother and all her special cousins. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the doctors and nurses at St. Louis Childrens Hospital and Provena Home Care and Hospice. A Life Celebration for Ally Hughes will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Peter Wright will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakwood. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, July 20 also at Sunset. Memorials may be made to the Friends of Kids with Cancer or the National Childrens Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.sunsetfunerlalhome.com.
