Allie Powell

Allie Powell, 92, of Danville passed away in Lakeside, MT on September 24, 2019.

She was born on October 1, 1926 in Danville, IL the daughter of James and Bessie (Morrow) Hobbs. She married Elbert Powell and he preceded her in death.

Allie will be dearly missed by her son, Alan Powell, daughter, Marilyn Schroeter, siblings; Jim (Jean) Hobbs, Betty (Don) Duffy and Ann (Bob) Link, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sons, 2 grandchildren, and 6 siblings.

Allie worked at General Electric for several years, but her passion was being on the farm and loving her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of Allies life will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville 3940 North Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 with Pastor Brian Simpson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
