Allen Wayne Disney, 66, of Mooresville, IN, formerly of Oakwood, IL, passed away February 26, 2011 at his home, after a heroic battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born September 3, 1944, and adopted by Roy Virgil and Mary Effa Disney, of Hendricks County Indiana. Allen graduated from Danville High School in Danville, IN, in 1962, and attended the Approved University of Beauty Culture in Indianapolis, IN, where he met Marian Francis. They married on September 8, 1963, and moved to Illinois where Allen managed the Brothers Station Grain Elevator and farmed. He later was employed by the Tractor Supply Company in Danville, IL, and transferred to the Plainfield, IN store after Marian passed of Pancreatic Cancer. On May 26, 2007, Allen married Louise English Hawhee of Mooresville, IN. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Cary Allen (Michelle) Disney of Clayton N.C, and a daughter, Staci Deane Disney (Jim) Walker of Oakwood, IL. Four grandchildren, Jaynie and Jessica Disney, and Clayton and Riley Walker, one step-daughter, Trina Rund (Chris) Hargis of Avon, IN, and four step-grandchildren, Tori, William, Audrey, and Luke Hargis. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, and his wife, Marian. Allen enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed farming, 4-H, his dogs, and feeding and watching birds. He was a NASCAR and Indiana Basket Ball fan, and a master of fixing about anything that broke. A memorial service will be held at Carlisle & Sons Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, IN from 5-7pm EDT on Monday, February 28, 2011. A Private family only visitation for Allen Disney will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Casual attire is welcomed. A public graveside service will begin at 3:30pm CDT on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Oakwood, and a memorial service will begin at 5:00pm CDT at the Fairmount Evangelistic Church in Fairmount, IL.
