Alison Sophia Crose, 8, of Chicago, passed away at 1:34 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2008 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, after a long battle with cancer. Alison was born on September 23, 2000 in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of Jacob and Paula (Day) Crose. She is survived by her parents, maternal grandparents- Jeff and Mary Jo Day of Danville; paternal grandparents- Jim and Debbie Crose of Danville; aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved Princess kitty cat. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather- Larry McDaniel. Alison loved Disneyworld. She was all girl, she loved singing, dancing, shopping and all things pink and red. She was the happiest girl and proclaimed almost every day that this was the best day ever. A Celebration of the Life of Alison Sophia Crose was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Johnson Cemetery, with Pastor Phil Yakey officiating.
