Alicia Williams, 39, of Georgetown, passed away 8:22am, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. She was born on Friday, August 6, 1982, a beautiful summer afternoon and she was just as beautiful. Alicia was a very shy child and as she grew, she had a quirky intelligent personality. She was a down to earth girl. Alicia loved everything outdoors; camping, fishing, cooking out, family gatherings, and sitting by her pool. She dealt with many adversities and overcame many of them. When she made up her mind, she was going to do something, she did just that. Life was to be lived. Alicia graduated from Danville High School, Class of 2000. During her high school days, she worked for Walgreens and UBID. Alicia decided she was going to become a nurse. She earned her Nursing Degree at Danville Area Community College. On May 18, 2017, she received her pin. She was so proud of herself as was everyone who loved her. Alicia loved being a nurse. After receiving her degree, she took a position at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman, working there until August 2019, when she received her diagnosis of cancer. First and foremost, Alicia loved her family, and her children are her pride and joy. She loved her fur babies, her dachshunds, Dexter & Sadie. Alicia fought a good fight against her cancer diagnosis. She leaves behind her parents, Dora & Steve Nolen, Marc Williams; her children, Haley Hoover, Leann Hoover, & Austin Williams; her grandson who is due in December; her siblings, Mike (Tina) Pribble, Steve (Michelle) Nolen Jr., Chase (Alexa) Williams, Deann Pribble, Annette Cunningham, & Amanda Williams; her fianc, William Waynick and his children, and grandson, Silas; her grandmother, Madeline Calvin; nephews, Brandon, Aiden whom adored her, Jordan, Levi, Hunter, Jaxsen, & Grayson; her nieces, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Chelsy, Cheyann, & Raymie; and her several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends, Ricci Jean Fader, Amanda Winland, & Sarah Colby.
