Alice A Tucker

Alice Anne Tucker, 80, of Rantoul, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She was born on February 20, 1946, in Loda, the daughter of Louis and Chloe Meents. Alice married Dennis Tucker on July 2, 1965, in Paxton; he survives.

She is also survived by her son, Jeff (Kim) Tucker; grandchildren, Austin Hauersperger, Brandon Hauersperger, Hayden Hauersperger, Jarett Tucker, Justin Tucker, and great-granddaughter, RaeLynn Hauersperger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Teri Lynn Tucker, and brother, Louis “Bill” William Meents.

Alice was a loving and creative woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed traveling and making memories wherever her journeys took her, but she especially cherished the time she spent with her family. Alice had a wonderful talent for sewing and crocheting, creating beautiful things with her hands and sharing her creativity with those she loved. Above all, family was at the heart of her life, and she treasured every moment spent together, leaving behind many warm memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Per Alice’s wishes, there will be no services. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Lux Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave., is honored to assist the family with funeral arrangements.
