Alice Louise Dailey, 77, of Georgetown peacefully left this life surrounded by her three children on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living Facility. Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Richard "Rick" Wayne Dailey, Sr on September 30, 2017. Alice was born on May 24, 1943 to Ross and Sarah Luther. Alice grew up in Ridge Farm, IL with her many siblings. Surviving are Dorothy Davis, Belva (Steven) Drake, Diana (Tom) Emerick, Janice (Ron) Throckmartin. Also, surviving are her brother and sister in law William & Francis Dailey. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Robert Luther, Betty Neaville, Sheryl Larrance, and Virgil Luther, as well as her parents. In 1987 Alice achieved her CNA license and began work at Vermilion Manor in Danville, IL. She enjoyed taking care of her residents and would sometimes take her grandchildren to visit the residents also. Alice also worked for the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Schools for many years where her kids and grandkids attended school as a playground supervisor. Alice loved God and she attended the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene. Alice enjoyed line dancing and playing the tambourine, painting ceramics, and did some bowling with her husband Rick. Her most favorite pastime was sitting in her backyard swing with her family and attending her many grandchildrens ball games. Alice married Rick on November 27, 1963 and together they raised three beautiful children, Richard "Rick" Wayne Dailey Jr. (Janet), Frank Edward Dailey (Angela), and Kelly Ann Conrad (Tony). Then came the grandchildren: Jennifer Robin Smith (Kyle), Richard "Ricky" Wayne Dailey III (Leather), Kristin Marie Dailey, James Wesley Dailey (Macie), LeeAnn Rae Conrad, SPC Colton "Cole" Ross Dailey (currently deployed), PFC Waylon Lee Conrad, Sarah Ann Dailey, & Steven "Stevie" Ray Dailey. Then later joined in four more granddaughters: Layni Elexas Razmus, AM2 (AW) Darcey Alyc Razmus, Haylee Alexsander Razmus, and Victoria Elizabeth Razmus. In 2008 Alice & Ricks first great-granddaughter, Addison RaeAnn Dailey was born and left for Heaven. A few years later came, Ashtyn AnnMarie Dailey, Jaxon Daniel Maddox Dailey, Lennon Cole Smith, Lane Dailey Smith, Richard Wayne Dailey IV, River Austin Pierce Dailey, and Hudson Deane Dailey. Alice will be missed by many but how special it is knowing that she and Rick are reunited again. She is now and will forever be in the arms of an angel. The family would like to thank the staff of Pleasant Meadows Senior Living facility for their kindness to Alice and her family during her stay. A celebration of Alices life will be held graveside at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm.
