Alice Lelamae Tims

Alice Lelamae TIms, 87, of Danville, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Alice was born on October 20th, 1924, in Trigg County, Kentucky. She was formerly married to Everett W. Tims. She is survived by four children- Frederick (Joanne) Tims of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeanette Hunt of Champaign, Everett L. (Laura) Tims of Danville and Alicia (Charles) Johnson of Danville; son-in-law- William Parker of Defiance, Ohio; 9 grandchildren- Robert Purify, Thomas Hunt Jr., Erica Tims-Brown, Everett Tims, Deja Tims, Shaundra Tims, Memory Tims-White and Jacobi Minor; and several great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter- Madeline Parker, seven brothers and three sisters. Alice worked at the Danville VA Illiana Medical Center for 20 years, until she retired in 1981. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses Church in Danville. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading her bible. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Alice's wishes were to be cremated.
