Alice Joan Moulton

Danville-Alice Joan Moulton of Danville, passed away on Sunday May 8th 2016 at Colonial Manor Nursing home in Danville. She was born on July 9th 1927 to Marie Taylor. Joan married Gordon E. Moulton on April 26, 1957 in Covington Ind. He precedes her in death as well as her daughter Marsha Duckworth and her mother Marie Taylor Smith. Joan is survived by her sons, Leslie (Cathy) Moulton, Timothy Moulton, and her daughters Lynn (Jack) Hodges of Danville and Carla (James) Ishmon of Mt. Morris Michigan, her aunt Lillian Butler, special cousins, Ann Tucker and James Butler. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joshua (Heather) Moulton, Joseph (Sierra) Moulton, Samantha Moulton, Brylee Moulton, Evan Moulton, Ian Moulton, Pamela Ishmon, Sheree (Leroyal) Peoples, Jody (Cory) Glass, Charles (Tricia) Duckworth, Angela Brumfield and Chris Brumfield. As well as many great grandchildren. Joan worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Danville Polyclinic as an x-ray technician and later retired from the VA Medical Center as a nuclear medicine technician. She was a member of East Park Church of Christ, where she taught Thursday school for several years. She enjoyed keeping up with friends and family on Facebook and having ice cream with her friend Val. Most of all she enjoyed having family dinners on Sundays and watching the great grandchildren play. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville on Thursday May 12th from 10-11:00am. A Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00.
